Sponsored by Merrell and Gazelle Sports, the first annual Chameleon Adventure Race took place Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Camp Roger in Rockford, Mich. Teams of two and three individuals and their toy lizards navigated their way around the 4-6 hour course on foot, trail, bike and ropes, picking up trash along the way and planting trees for Camp Roger. A portion of the event proceeds benefited the Western Michigan Environmental Action Council.

To those that participated in this year’s event – racers, volunteers and sponsors – thank you for making the inaugural race a fun day for all. We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did!
